RAWALPINDI: (Parliament Times) Rs 60 million have been released for setting up IT LABs in 45 schools of district Rawalpindi.
As many as 45 schools located in Tehsil Murree, Kotli Saattian, Kahuta, Kallar Syedan, Gujjar Khan, Taxila and Rawalpindi are running with IT laboratories despite the fact that IT teachers have been appointed in these schools. Now grant amounting to Rs 60 million has been released with the approval of deputy commissioner, chairman district development committee for the establishment of IT laboratories in these schools.
The grant includes Rs 50 million for setting up IT Laboratories in 25 high and higher secondary schools and Rs 10 million for 20 middle schools.
