Multan: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) carried out a search operation in Jalal Pur Peer Wala and killed a commander of banned outfit, Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) along with his accomplice.
According to media reports, on a tip off, CTD conducted search operation in Jalal Pur Peer Wala. During encounter two terrorists identified as Ijaz Ashgar and one other was killed while four others managed to escape from the scene.
According to CTD, among the killings, Ijaz was the commander of a banned outfit. Hand grenade, weapons and explosive material was also recovered from terrorists.
