ISLAMABAD: PML-N leader Barrister Zafar Ullah has said that rejecting review petitions by Supreme Court (SC) in panama case is disappointing, adding that this decision is alike with Maulvi Tamizuddin and Bhutto cases.
Talking to media persons outside the apex court, Barrister Zafar Ullah said that according to the constitution it is the job of Supreme Court but our party is disappointed after rejection of panama review appeals.
History would decide either the decision of rejection of review petitions is right or wrong, he added saying that the PML-N will keep believing upon the constitution and system of Pakistan and would accept each and every verdict of it.
“We would continue render sacrifices for judiciary and justice and a time has to come when our courts would become stronger†he added.
He further added that the apex court didn’t accept our arguments but according to Islamic law it is our right to file appeal and we would file more appeals.
Soon PML-N will table amendment bill in section 184/3 of the constitution.
The Minister of State for Information Technology (IT) Anusha Rehman said that SC bench has assured the protection of rights while giving judgment but when verdict came there was no order of any protection in it that is surprising for us.
“We will come and go with the hope of justice and will never stop because Sharif family didn’t give the right to fair trial†Rehman said.
She went on to say that Nawaz Sharif was ousted on not taking salary from his son therefore disqualification of Nawaz should be set aside.
The apex court gave decisions in the past too without 62 (1) F.
She further said that NAB is filing references against Sharif family on orders of Supreme Court and there are reservations of affecting human rights in subordinate courts working under higher courts as how could we attain justice from that supervisory judges who gave verdict against us already.
