ISLAMABAD: Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief Sheikh Rasheed on Thursday filed a petition in Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) seeking disqualification of Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi .
He pleaded in his petiton that PM Abbasi name be placed in ECL as he and other big names are involved in purchasing expensive Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).
He prayed that PM Khaqan Abbasi no more remained Sadiq and Ameen due to LNG deal. Corruption of Rs 200 billion was committed in this deal. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and many tycoons are partners in this deal.

He said this is first case wherein he is receiving threats. Quake of cases will soon jolt the country.

Rasheed said world’s most costly metro bus project has been erected in Rawalpindi. He said Waqar Ahmed, Saeed Ahmad and Saif-ur-Rehman are front-men of Nawaz Sharif.
He observed if democracy has to be saved in the country then strength of judges in Supreme Court and high court be increased two fold.
