Islamabad: An independent survey, conducted by a Non-Government Organization [NGO], says that around 64 percent people have expressed confidence over the incumbent government being led by Prime Minister Azad Jammu Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan.
According to the survey conducted by Kashmir based Non Government Organization with support of Norwegian Organization, 64 percent people in Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) have expressed satisfaction over the performance of the present government led by Prime Minister AJK Raja Farooq Haider. Out of total 10 districts, people of seven districts have expressed satisfaction while demanding that merit should be introduced in education department.
The survey report also termed media in AJK one of the actively performing sectors. In Survey, Prime Minister AJK Raja Farooq Haider secured highest votes as one of the active government Prime Minister in all cabinets.
According to Survey, various questions were asked to people at Tehsil and District level. Around 61 per cent people agreed that government has reduced expenses in comparison to previous government. While 27 per cent said that expenses were not reduced and 12 per cent people didn’t reply the question asked in the survey.
35 per cent people expressed satisfaction over the performance of the district organizations.
While 32 per cent think district organizations’ performance is poor and 33 per cent did not reply. 45 per cent people have expressed satisfaction over the efforts being made for the freedom struggle of Indian Held Kashmir. Around 47 per cent people expressed satisfaction over the efforts being made by AJK government for improvement of energy and communication sector. Trust in AJK government leads to greater compliance with regulations, facilitates and people welfare policies.
