Lahore: 5-day Professional Rescue Course held under the aegis of Falah-e-Insanitat Foundation at Rescue Training Institute was concluded here on Friday.

People hailing from Punjab, Sindh, Khyber PK and Azad Kashmir joined course. Engineer Haris Dar and Abu Bakar Madni distributed certificates among participants. Participants were trained regarding rescue in floods, earthquake, accidents and other emergency situations.
Senior Safety Trainer Rizwan Shoukat, BLS Senior Instructor Doctor Nasir Ahmad, Head Rescue Services Abu Sariya Naveed Qamar, Pharmacist Doctor Akram, Doctor Ahsanullah, Engineer Haris Dar and other instructors delivered lectures though modern methods and equipments.
Participants were provided with practical trainings on various topics such as Cardiac First Response (CFR), Basic Life Support (BLS), Wilderness First Aid, Fireman Course, and methods to save life. Participants also went through Flood Drill Exercises in case of floods emergency.
Chairman FIF Hafiz Abdul Rauf said that his organization wants to prepare such a nation which responds quickly in case of accident, natural calamity or any other national tragedy. “Our target is to provide rescue training to over 100 thousand individuals”, he said adding that rescue training workshops were being held in every nook and corner of the country. “Till now, we have provided rescue training to 46 thousand people”, he maintained.
