Islamabad: (Parliament Times) In response to a call of the CDA Mazdoor Union (CBA) in the establishment of Capital Development Authority, an emergent meeting was arranged by the CBA Union in Chairman’s office against the atrocious and anti-labour activities and anti-labour policy adopted by Yasir Peerzada the CDA Member Administration, a protest was held against him, wherein thousands of employees of CDA participated in this event.
According to a press statement issued here on Tuesday, the protest demonstration was attended and addressed by Ch. Muhammad Yaseen General Secretary, President Aurangzeb Khan, Raja Shakir Zaman Kiani Chairman, Sufi Mahmood Ali Supreme Head, Haji Mushtaq Ahmad Shahid Chief Organizer, Lala Farman, Izzat Khan, Ahmad Ali Sherazi, Syed Amir Shah Kazmi, Waris Daleep, Irfan Khan, Waris Bhatti and others.
Ch.Muhammad Yaseen, while addressing the protesters said, that Mazdoor Union (CBA) has always believed in bilateral negotiations for resolution of disputes with the Management and got various demands accepted and our workers played an important role for the encouragement of role of Pakistan Army and the present Government and it was possible for success of Political Representatives in the Federal Capital with our help.
He said that he was sorry to say that due to non-cooperation and anti-labour policies of the Management, the demands are not being negotiated peacefully without disturbing the industrial dispute of the Federal capital. He made a specific reference to the illegal appointment of Member Admin.(Yasir Perrzada) not being eligible to serve on the said post, has adopted a course being detrimental and against the workers interest too.
Proceeding further, he drew the attention to repeal of rule 20 of AAR 2002, Family transfers of houses, repeal of Up gradation policy of thousand of employees of CDA, employment of CDA employees’ son, transfer of office-bearers of the Union, House Building and Motor cycle advances, bringing drastic changes in Hajj scheme. The Member Admin. is thus part of anti-labour group defeated five times by the workers of CDA reposing great confidence in our Union.
They appealed the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Ch.Nisar Ali Khan the Federal Interior Minister, Dr.Tariq Fazal Chaudhry State Minister for CADD and Ch.Answer Aziz Chairman, CDA for removal of the Member Administration immediately for the reason of his anti-labour policy.
“In case he is not removed from his post, CDA Mazdor Union being CBA, affiliated with the Pakistan Workers Federation also having its affiliation at the International level, shall give another call again within next days, wherein apart from CDA 15000 employees, other Unions shall be invited to participate in the protestâ€, they said adding that responsibility of any unrest shall lie with the present CDA Management and more particularly with the CDA Member Admin.
They said that CDA workers have played an important role for the Federal capital, and shall not play any role to destroy the industrial peace of the establishment. They said that their demand for removal of Member be accepted within seven days.
