QUETTA: (Parliament Times) Death toll in Quetta bomb blast occurred this morning has risen to twelve.

According to police, the people who were martyred in the bomb explosion included seven police personnel.

Twenty-one people, including five police and four military personnel, were also wounded in the incident.

President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif have reaffirmed that the entire nation is united against the menace terrorism.

Strongly denouncing the terrorist act in Quetta, they said such incidents can not shake the resolve and determination of the nation.

In his remarks, the President said the operations will continue till complete elimination of terrorists.

The Prime Minister said these cowardly attacks are a sign of growing frustration of terrorists who have even targeted innocent civilians during the holy month of Ramadan.

He said such elements deserve no mercy and will meet their fate soon in view of unflinching and united resolve of the nation against terrorism.

Nawaz Sharif directed the authorities concerned to hunt down the perpetrators of this henious act and bring them to justice.

He has also asked the provincial government to provide best possible medical treatment to the injured.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri have also strongly commended the bomb blast in Quetta.
