ISLAMABAD: (Parliament Times) AJK President Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan has observed that some pro-India political parties and leaders were acting as facilitators to India for massacring the Kashmiri people.
Talking to various personalities that called on him here on Monday he said Farooq Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti and their accomplices were criminal of Kashmiri nation who are acting as silent spectators to the genocide and killing of Kashmiri youths on a massive scale.
Mr. Khan clarified leaders of All Parties Hurriyat Conference are the real representatives of Kashmiris in India-held Kashmir. Millions of people take to the road on one call of the APHC leaders, he added. “These leaders are targeted by security forces for waging freedom movement and mobilizing the people of J&K to keep their struggle for achieving their right to self-determination†he said.
The President expressed his surprise that Indian leaders were not considering Kashmiris as the real party of Kashmir conflict although India always tried to take Kashmiris into confidence before the bilateral talks with Pakistan. Now India does not bother to hold a political dialogue with the people of IHK and keep declining them their right to self-determination, he noted. “The so called champion of democracy was trampling its principles and engaged in horrendous atrocities and human rights violations in the held valley. These are the reasons that no lasting solution of Kashmir issue could be found during the last 70 years†he said.
Mr. Khan remarked that despite its best efforts India could not motivate Kashmiris to become its part. He said India had bred strong hatred in the hearts of people of J&K by its horrific cruelties against the Kashmiri families. It was why they were expressing glaring hatred against India, he stated.
Expressing his heartfelt felicitation to Pakistan Cricket team for winning the Champions Trophy at Oval in London he said Team Pakistan won the hearts of people of the country. Rejoicing and celebrations of Pakistan victory in Srinagar and other districts of the held valley is a proof that people of Pakistan and Kashmir share their pleasures and pains. He condemned the crackdown of Indian forces against rejoicing Kashmiris on Pakistan cricket team’s victory adding that people of Kashmir consider Pakistani team as their own.
