ISLAMABAD: (Parliament Times) Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to upgrade play grounds including foot ball and cricket grounds in various sectors at Islamabad.
A Corporate Social Response department will be set up to conduct survey of all play grounds constructed in various sectors. Besides upgrading these grounds on modern line, sports community committees will be established for up-keeping these grounds.
An agreement has been reached between CDA and private construction company Sukh Chain to complete this mega project. Under this agreement this construction company will spend Rs 5 million for upgrading cricket ground located on Embassy road on modern lines. The company has started work on this count.
