Rawalpindi: The issuance of birth and death certificates in the Municipal Corporation Rawalpindi has gone disrupted for the last one month due to lack of NADRA sheets.
The citizens are facing severe problems as their important documents are lying pending in Municipal Corporation Rawalpindi as these are not being entered into record due to lack of NADRA sheets .The citizens have to stand in long queues daily and on the other hand the officers start offering lame excuses instead of offering any solution to the problem. According to sources, the matters related to transfer of property, education institutions admission forms, VISA requirements for going abroad are being inordinately delayed and the concerned staffers have started dumping the cases related to birth and death certificates.
The NADRA officials on the condition of anonymity said that they have no idea when the special sheets will be handed over, so no timeframe could be given when the applications will be dealt with.. An official of Municipal Corporation Rawalpindi on condition of anonymity said that on our side all the process has been completed we are just waiting for NADRA sheets, but we have no idea when these are provided to us.
