Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) The prime minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Hyder Khan on Wednesday said that in order to address the issues faced by Kashmiri migrant community the government has constituted a high level committee that will present its report to the government.

Eight-member committee headed by law minister Raja Nisar Ahmed Khan has been tasked to present its recommendations regarding the fulfillment of six-point charter of demand, which was presented to the PM AJK by representatives of Kashmiri migrant community during a meeting here yesterday (2-May 2017). The other members of the committee included Nasir Dar the minister for Rehabilitation, Fayaz Ali Abbasi senior member board of Revenue, Law Secretary, and Secretary Services, Secretary Education and Schools, Secretary Colleges and Chief administrator Zukat and Ushar.

It may be recalled here that the Six-point charter of demand presented by representatives of the refugee community demanded housing facility to homeless Kashmir migrants, increasing of daily subsistence allowance, granting of land for grave-yard besides providing free education to students of the refugee community in different colleges and universities of Azad Kashmir.

Terming migrant community as part of his body and soul the PM has assured his government’s full support to migrant community saying that his government would use its all out resources to address the problems faced by the community.
