Islamabad: (Parliament Times) AJK president Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan has said UK’s exit from European Union would negatively affect Kashmir issue as European members of parliament of Kashmiri origin from UK were affectively highlighting Kashmir situation in the parliament. Talking to chairman Jammu and Kashmir Right to Self Determination Moment Ali Raza Syed at Kashmir House on Tuesday he said that members of European parliaments Raja Muhammad Afzal Khan, Chaudary Amjad Basheer andSajjad Kareeem deserve to e praised for their untiring effort for Kashmiris struggle for their right to self determination. He urged the Kashmiri community members to establish close contacts with other members of European countries and apprised them of the background of Kashmir issue, Kashmiri people struggle for their right to self determination, UN resolution on Kashmir and human rights violation in the held valley. Ali Raza Syed told the president that a high level delegation comprising members of Foreign Affairs Committee of European Unions will visit Pakistan from April 18 to 21.
The delegation, he said would discus matter concerning Pakistan- European Union relations and Kashmir issue with relevant Pakistani officials. Ali Raza Syed further told president that his visit to Brussels proved to highly beneficial and European media widely covered his interviews that helped the European people better understand Kashmir conflict in its right perspective. He said RSDM is actively engaged in evolving a stragety to after Brexit and is in contact with members EU Parliament Balgrade, Romania, Germany and other countries. AJK president highly appreciated the efforts of the organization and expressed his hope that they will continue play their role for Kashmir cause with more devotion and hard work
