RAWALPINDI: (Parliament Times) Decision has been taken to open counters of Bank of Punjab (BoP) in 144 land record centres of Punjab including Rawalpindi to eliminate Patwari culture from the province.
A specific counter will be opened in all the branches of BoP for Punjab Land Record Authority.
These counters will help timely transfer of land. The citizens will be able to obtain Fard for record from specific counters. In several districts centuries old record has been shifted to digital format. Land record of 55.5 million land owners has been made part of data base.
