Rawalpindi Rs70 million have been released to supply water from Khanpur Dam to Rawalpindi Cantonment Board and Chakala Cantonment Board areas under third phase of water supply Project.Rawalpindi Cantonment Board has released over Rs45 million, while Chaklala Cantonment Board has released Rs25 million for the project. With the completion of the third phase of the ongoing project, water crisis in garrison areas would be overcome. Meanwhile, Cantonment Board Rawalpindi also approved maps of 59 residential and 9 commercial areas located in Cantonment areas, while the fee on the completion of construction certificate has also been slashed.These decisions were made during monthly meeting chaired by Brigadier Syed Hassan Raza (President Cantonment Board.
