QUETTA: (Parliament Times) Three-day anti-polio drive begins in twenty-nine districts of Balochistan, eleven districts of Punjab, six districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA on Monday.
In Balochistan, more than two point four million children up to five years of age will be administered anti-polio drops during the campaign.
In Punjab, polio eradication campaign began in eleven districts of the province on Monday.
Punjab Healthcare Department sources informed that the campaign is part of case that was reported in Lodhran and positive environment samples in Multan.
In Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, more than two million children up to five years of age will be administered anti-polio drops in Peshawar, Kohistan, Shangla, Battagram, Abbottabad and Mansehra districts.
Three-day campaign against polio also begins in Gilgit and Diamer on Monday.
Special security measures have been chalked out to ensure security of polio teams.
