Islamabad: (Parliament Times) President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan has said Pakistan has no choice but to take Kashmir issue to international community as India is not willing to hold constructive dialogues with Pakistan to resolve this issue.
Talking to senior APHC leader Ghulam Muhammad Safi here on Sunday, he said that Indian is using media as weapon of war to project herself as victim of terrorism by dubbing Kashmir freedom movement as terrorism. He urged the Pakistani media to counter Indian propaganda against the Kashmir liberation struggle by presenting freedom struggle in its true perspective. He said that neither Pakistan nor Kashmiris should suggest any solution or float any formula for Kashmir resolution unilaterally and without consulting each other. He added that once we retract from over principled position on Kashmir than we will have no place to stand on. The president said that Kashmir Intifada started after the martyrdom of Burhan Muzaffar Wani should be supported from the people of Azad Kashmir and Pakistan with unity and one voice. He paid glowing tributes to the pro- freedom leadership of Occupied Kashmir including Syed Ali Shah Gilani, Mir Waiz Umar Farooq, Yasin Malik and Musarat Alam for their courage and determination. He added that our case on Kashmir has slightly weakened due to extremism and militancy and it is responsibility of the media to counter its negative effects. He expresses his hop that the struggle of Kashmir people for their right to self-determination will be crowned with success soon.
