Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) A woman has been gunned-down over a petty issue within the Rawat Police jurisdiction.
Ghulam Abbass was married to Saima Sheraz six years back and did not have a child, while the couple was having fights over domestic issue regularly. Ghulam came home after drinking liquor and started quarrelling with wife. He turned furious and started firing at his wife, killing her on the spot.
The body was shifted to local hospital for medico-legal formalities.
The police have started investigation.
