Islamabad: (Parliament Times) The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that his government has put AJK on the path of development and prosperity in accordance with the vision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Addressing a reception hosted by him in honour of Ministers, Members Assembly and Party workers, here at Kashmir House, the prime minister said that after coming into power in AJK, we set three priorities of the government for the brighter future of the State.
Elaborating the priorities, he said highlighting the Kashmir Issue in its true prospect to gain international support and expose Indian atrocities committed by occupation forces in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, developing AJK by improving its infrastructure and provision of good governance to the people of AJK were main targets. He said Pakistan Muslim League (N) formed government in a result of free, fair and transparent elections in July 2016, we shall come up to the expectations of the voters by implementing our party manifesto.
He told the participants of the reception that government had taken strong steps for establishment of good governance, restoration of merit and provision of justice to the deprived segment of the society. He said, for ensuring the merit in the process of recruitment in department of Education services of National Testing Service (NTS) has been acquired, for gross root development A project of Community Infrastructure Development Program casting 1.6b rupees has been initiated and in health sector an emergency services in district headquarters hospitals also been started and to cope with challenge of unemployment new posts were being created in various departments, he added. He reiterated his resolve to eradicate the corruption from the state by introducing new amended Accountability Act. Advisor to Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Syed Asif Karmani, Senator Pervez Rasheed and senior minister Ch Tariq Farooq also addressed the audiences.
