QUETTA: (Parliament Times) Balochistan government is taking effective measures for promotion of livestock and make the province self-sufficient in production of dairy products.

According to sources, a project for provision of mobile animal health and veterinary services to the farmers in 20 districts has been approved.

The project would be accomplished at a cost of more than 108 million rupees. Similarly, a project for establishing a research centre for dairy development in Labella has also been accorded approval. Completion of the project would cost more than 61 million rupees.

A project for establishing a Camel Research Cum Camel Milk Processing Unit has also been approved. The project would be completed at a cost of 50 million rupees in Washuk district.
