SHARJAH: Peshawar Zalmi, still reeling from Saturday night’s last-ball defeat to Islamabad United, will take on Karachi Kings at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium tonight.

Darren Sammy’s eleven, which slipped to number three on the points table following last night’s loss, will look to reclaim their top spot by scoring a win against the Kings.

The Kings, who had been winless before Friday’s 8-run D/L victory against United in a rain-affected game, will look to continue their winning streak to rise from the bottom of the table.

Zalmi beat Kings by 7 wickets in their first encounter in the opening week of PSL 2017. That match was dominated by Eoin Morgan’s match-winning innings of 80 runs off 57 balls.

Zalmi have won two and lost two of the five matches they have played so far this tournament, while one match was abandoned by rain.

Kings have won one and lost three of the four matches they have played.
