Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, normal life remained crippled in Kulgam, Pulwama and Islamabad areas in South Kashmir, today, against the killing of Kashmiri youth by Indian troops.

Shops and other business establishments remained closed in Kulgam, Qaimoh, Devsar and DH Pora Tehsils of the district while traffic was off the road. Shutdown was also observed in Srigufwara area of Bijbehara in Islamabad district.

Police and paramilitary forces wearing riot gears were deployed in strength to thwart any attempts by protesters to take to the streets in the South Kashmir areas.

The Indian forces had killed six Kashmiri youth on Sunday at Frisal in Kulgam.

People continued to visit families of the martyrs on the fourth consecutive day, today, to offer condolences.

Meanwhile, residents continued to raise donations for the house owner, Abdul Majid Reshi, whose house was raised to ground by Indian forces at Frisal. His son, Ishaq Reshi, was also killed in the incident.

On the other hand, strike was also held in Kishtwar town of Jammu region over the killing of a youth, who fell from a mountaintop to avoid police chasing. The family members, relatives and locals staged a protest demanding registration of the murder against the police personnel involved in the chase. The protest was led by Imam Jamia Masjid Kishtwar, Farooq Ahmed Kitchloo. The last rites of the deceased youth were performed only after registration of the case against the police personnel.

Various delegations comprising leaders of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Leauge, Tehreek-e-Mazahmat, Islamic and Political Party visited families of martyrs in Redwani, Howrah & Frisal areas of Kulgam and expressed solidarity with them. Muhammad Yousuf Naqash and Bilal Siddiqui were part of the delegations.
visited the residences of both civilians of Frisal Yaripora Who were martyrd by indian forces .On the occasion Party Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza telephonically expressed his solidarity with the family members of both martyrs Ahmad.While paying glorious tributes to the martyrs waza expressed his deep concern overvcivilian killings in frisal and termed it sheer brutality and barbarism.He said how long Indian establishment will deprive us from ourfundamental right and added.that local stooges are hell-bent to supress our genuine voices by the barrel of gun ,said Bita Karete and added we are determined and we will carry our mission till its logical end.
Waza appealed world community to pressurise india for a peacefull dialouge so that Kashmir dispute is solved once for all.
