ISLAMABAD :(Parliament Times) The three-member bench of Supreme Court has maintained the ban on Amir Liaquat programme Aisay Nahi Chalay Ga on Bol News that was earlier imposed by Pemra on Jan 26, reported the news agency .
In its detailed verdict, the three-member bench professed that the administration of Bol News had no legal justification to appeal against the decision made by Pemra on Jan 26.
The court also revealed in its verdict that the petition in this regard had earlier been taken up.
The court declared that the administration of Bol News can file an appeal against the ban in SIndh High Court.
Anchor Amir Liaquat revealed on the occasion that he is submitting his reply to Pemra and that the regulatory authority should be bound to submit reply within seven days.
Justice Amir Hani Muslim remarked that the reply should be submitted first and it is hoped that Pemra would gave its decision in fair enough time.
