LONDON: Secretary Information of PML-N UK chapter, Raja Inam Ullah Khan has said Kashmiri community in England and other parts of Europe highly appreciates AJK Prime Minister, Raja Farooq Hiader Khan for his policies to provide clean and honest administration in the state.
In a statement issued on Tuesday from London, he said small size of cabinet, measures for upholding merit and rule of law and revamping of the accountability process to hold the corrupt accountable are some of the important policy decisions of Prime Minister Farooq Haider Khan that deserve appreciation. Inam Ullah Khan said Prime Minister’s visit to UK with small delegation is proof of his seriousness to save the resources of the state and spend them on the welfare of the people.
Describing the visit of AJK PM to UK as highly successful, he said Prime Minister productively won the confidence of overseas Kashmiris to invest in AJK by ensuring them that his government will provide all possible facilities besides bringing necessary legislation for protection of their capital and investment. The PML-N leader said that prime minister told the potential investors that his government will make the investment process simple to ensure that investors don’t have to bureaucratic hurdles.
He said that many Kashmiri expatriate showed their keen interest to invest in hydropower generation and tourism sectors during Prime Minister ongoing visit to the United Kingdom.
Raja Inamullah Khan said that Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider also successfully motivated British Kashmiri community to highlight Kashmir issue and expose excesses of Indian army against innocent people of Occupied Kashmir.
He termed the signing of an agreement between AJK government and British Council for training of around six thousands teachers in Azad Kashmir as significant development for strengthening the education sector. The PML-N UK leader expressed his hope that AJK PM plans to invite UK based Kashmiri investors in specific projects will get very positive response. He added that important institutional reforms by the government of Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan will help improve the image of AJK and will attract the investment from overseas Kashmiris in the state. He also appreciated Prime Minister Farooq Khan’s resolve to involve the educated youths of Kashmiri origin residing in UK and Europe in the lobbying activities for Kashmir cause.
