Jammu : In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference’s delegation led by Nayeem Khan visited the residence of Hurriyet leader, D R Sharma, in Jammu to condole his death.

The delegation included Mir Shahid Saleem, Muhammad Shafi, Narender Singh and others.

Speaking on the occasion, Nayeem Ahmed Khan and Mir Shahid Saleem said that the contribution of D R Sharma in the Kashmiris’ ongoing struggle for right to self-determination could never be forgotten. They told the widow of the deceased that APHC and people of Kashmir were shocked by the news of the sudden death of D R Sharma. They said that his death was an irreparable loss to the Jammu region.

The APHC leaders said that D R Sharma played an active role in educating the people to fight the occupation of India and did not bow his head before the oppressor.

They applauded the people of Jammu for their role in the ongoing freedom movement. They said, this is a people’s movement for the cause of freedom and people irrespective of their religion, caste and creed have been sacrificing for securing their right to self-determination
