Islamabad: Chinese artists have presented a colorful performance on the eve of the New Chinese year. The performance was arranged by Chinese Culture Centre in Islamabad and Pakistan National Council of the Arts. The deputy Chief of Mission of People’s Republic of China Mr. Zhao Li Jian welcomed the guests on the second day of New Chinese year celebration and highlighted China Pakistan friendship and the visit of theInner Mangolia Culture Troupe.Chairman National Highway Authority Shahid Ashraf Tarar said that Pakistan China enjoys time tested friendship and people of Pakistan are pleased to be part of the China celebrations of New Year The Chinese artists spell bound performance included traditional Chinese music and dances and acrobatics. The show started with group dance “Tea Serving performanceâ€, this dance is being performed to welcome New Year when relatives visit each other houses in festive mood dressed in colorful costumes. Roaming Horse is the tune of life turned by UNESCO the oral and intangible cultural heritage of humanity. Chinese are popular for acrobatics and the flats spinning is their specialty. Male solo Mother and female solo Maria Variation were beautifully presented.The National Performing Arts Group of PNCA presented dance Pakistan Banana Hai. Performance of Pakistani instrumental music was part of the show. Other performances include Flute solo, Prior Love, Khoomel Performance. National Performing Art Group presented Pakistani traditional dances and show was attended by Pakistani and Chinese official and general public.
