KARACHI: The 66-inch diameter pipeline that supplies water to Karachi from Hub Dam bursted while hindering the supply of water henceforth.
The water from pumping station to treatment plant was transferred through main rising line.
Officials revealed that the water supply from Hub Dam to the city is carried out through two lines and that the suplly from one line is in continuation.
Owing to the bursting of pipeline, the deficiency of at least 4 crore gallons of water will occur on daily basis.
