Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) The second anniversary of deadliest attack on Army Public School Peshawar was observed throughout Azad Jammu and Kashmir today with the firm resolve to completely root out terrorism from the country.

Various functions, rallies, seminars and memorial walks were organized at all divisional and district headquarters of the state to pay homage to martyrs of Army Public School (APS) Peshawar.

In the state capital, a rally was taken out from CMH road Muzaffarabad to express solidarity with the families of APS martyrs and armed forces of the country.

People belonging to different walks of life including civil society and students of various government and private schools participated in the rally to pay tributes to the APS school children.

Meanwhile AJK Information Minister Mushtaq Minhas said that the terrorist attack on Army Public School Peshawar was unforgettable tragedy and was an attempt to deprive the nation from its future. The tragedy, he said however further strengthened the resolve of the nation to fight back the forces of regression and barbarism.

In his messages on the eve of second anniversary of terrorist attack, he said that Kashmiri nation is standing shoulder to shoulder with their brave armed forces and share the pain of families who lost their loved ones in Peshawar carnage 2014.

He also paid rich tribute to valiant armed forces of the country for foiling the nefarious designs of the enemies.

He said that Zarb-e-Azb has broken the backbone of terrorists and the day is not far when terrorism will be completely eliminated from the country. Expressing solidarity with the families of martyrs he lauded their courage and commitment and said that whole nation is standing with them and would never forget the sacrifice of innocent children
