Gujranwala: Here is something out of the unusual. Â A Railways driver decided to stop his train engine to treat himself to some pakoras.
The incident took place near Shamsabad in Gujranwala and video showed the driver getting off the train, buying pakoras from a local shop and then heading back to the train.
According to Pakistan Railways sources, the train engine was stopped on a single track and a major accident could have taken place.
Pakistan Railways took action and has suspended the driver and assistant driver. According to Pakistan Railways CEO Javed Anwar, the suspensions were enforced after initial investigation.
