Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said India is the biggest hurdle in the way of durable peace in South Asia.

Talking to various public delegations that called on him at Kashmir House in Islamabad on Sunday he said that Indian nefarious designs against Pakistan have put the regional peace at peril.

AJK Prime Minister said that India is trying to use Afghanistan as launching pad to destabilize Pakistan but it has been miserably failed in its ulterior objectives. He said that offers of mediation by international leaders on Kashmir are the proof of successful foreign policy of Pakistan.

Raja Farooq Haider Khan said that Kashmir was top priority of his government and claimed that his government has devised a plan to launch a sustained campaign at national and international level expose ugly face of India and to highlight gross violation of human rights in the held territory by India.  He added providing good governance to the people of Azad Kashmir is another area government is focusing to make a model State. He asserted that AJK from Tao Butt to Bhimber would be developed without any discrimination or political prejudice. Our main focus is to strengthen the state institutions to revive the confidence of people on them, he remarked.  Contrary to the past practice when only a handful people benefitted from the resources of the State, we want to change the culture by taking measures for collective benefit without party affiliations. If we work with commitment and dedication we can change the fortunes of future generations in AJK, he claimed.
