The killing of Burhan Wani triggered mass uprising in the territory and so far 113 people have been killed, over 16,000 injured and more than 400 blinded due to the firing of pellets, bullets and teargas shells by Indian forces on the peaceful protesters. The puppet authorities have detained thousands of people including Hurriyet leaders and activists to suppress the movement.
