Muzaffarabad:  Speaker AJK Legislative Assembly, Shah Ghulam Qadir has strongly condemned Indian shelling at Line of Control targeting the civil population and termed it as worst violation of human rights.

In a statement issued here on Monday, the speakers said shelling at Line of Control and working boundary is an Indian gambit to divert world attention from the gross violation of human rights by its forces in Occupied Valley. He said that situation has significantly changed at global level as international community is fully aware of Indian deceptive tactics and is condemning Indian brutalities in Kashmir.

He said Indian army out of sheer frustration is attacking places of worship and funeral ceremonies and causing death and destruction in the occupied territory, which is highly condemnable.  The Speaker legislative assembly demanded to the United Nations to send a fact finding mission in Occupied Kashmir to assess the human rights situation there.

Shah Ghulam Qadir assured the struggling people of Jammu and Kashmir all out help from the government and expressed his hope that day is not far off when their struggle will crown with success.

Meanwhile speaker Shah Ghulam Qadir and deputy speaker, Farooq Ahmed Tahir expressed their shock and grief over train accident in Karachi. They expressed their heartfelt condolence to the families of those who lost their lives in the tragic accident.
