Karachi: Five dead, one wounded in three gun attacks


KARACHI (Parliament Times) – Three firing incidents within 30 minutes in the metropolis claimed five lives and left one injured on Friday.

According to the police, the bodies were yet to be identified and being shifted to nearby hospitals.

Unidentified miscreants opened fire in Shafiq Mor area and fatally targeted three persons minutes before in another like attack, two persons were killed in Patel Para area.

Separately, in another firing incident, in Hyderi area, one local was wounded who was said to be critical by sources privy to the hospital.

The attacks have come in minutes after Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif claimed in a rally in Kashuta Tehsil of Rawalpindi that terrorism was effectively countered by policies of the ruling party.

Last week, at least five lives were lost as unidentified terrorists opened fire in a gathering in Nazimabad area.
