GADANI: At least ten people have been killed and over 40 injured when a fire engulfed the ship-breaking yard here on Tuesday.

The fire erupted after tanks on a ship caught fire, setting the entire ship ablaze. The fire spread fast, hampering rescue work.

Several labourers are feared to be trapped on the ship and rescue work is underway to take them out.
