RAHIMYAR KHAN: The Prime Minister vowed to eliminate terrorism from Pakistan soon.

He was speaking at a ceremony held to inaugurate the National Health Program on Friday where he announced the construction of 50 new hospitals.

He said that the poor will get treatment at both private and public hospitals and if their medical bill is above Rs300,000 the government will help them.

He added that sometimes the poor are forced to sell their homes to pay off their debts.

During the ceremony health cards were distributed to deserving families. Speaking about the health program he said that it will benefit those who are unable to afford medical treatment.

He said that in his last tenure he had initiated a program for treatment of kidneys. “One wishes future governments continue such programs which help the public.”

Roads and motorways

The prime minister congratulated the people of Rahimyar Khan over a motorway that is being constructed.

“We began constructing motorways and now we will connect Karachi and Balochistan. Road networks are so important, they reduce distances, and promote development.”

He said that in the next three years the state of railways will also improve adding that he will tackle energy woes and terrorism on priority basis.

He added that law and order situation in Karachi has improved and vowed to root out terrorism.
