Muzaffarabad: The AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has assured that the incomplete reconstruction projects in the quake hit areas of Azad Kashmir would be completed soon.

He was speaking after the detailed briefing given to him by ERRA officials on the targets ongoing reconstruction projects in the quake hit areas of Azad Kashmir in Muzaffarabad today.

The Chairman ERRA Major General Asghar Nawaz on this occasion told the Prime Minister that his organization was engaged in the ongoing projects loaned by China in Muzaffarabad, Bagh and Rawalakot. He said it was endeavor of ERRA that the ongoing projects could be completed. He said his organization was suffering from financial resources for several years. He said despite difficulties ERRA team made untiring efforts to complete quake resilient projects in education, health, governance, communication and water and sanitation in the State. He said the completed projects had been handed over to the concern departments.

The Director General ERRA Brig. Syed Fayyaz Hussain giving briefing on the occasion told that ERRA was set up after earthquake 2005. Since then it had completed 5237 projects out of set target of 7743 in different sectors while work was in progress on 779 projects.
