Islamabad: President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain has postponed his visit of Ireland for administering oath of Prime Minister to Imran Khan and has summoned National Assembly (NA) session for four days on Monday, 13th August.
As per media reports, Interim Minister of law Ali Zafar met President Mamnoon Hussain at president house and suggested him to postpone his visit of Ireland because it can affect government making process and delay the oath-taking of prime minister .
PTI also had appealed to Mamnoon Hussain to delay his visit of Ireland and in this perspective President Mamnoon has decided to postpone his private visit of Ireland on Friday.
Now President Mamnoon Hussain will administer oath of office of prime minister to Imran Khan on 17th August.
It is to be mentioned that President Mamnoon Hussain has summoned NA four days sessopm from Monday on the summary of Interim PM Justice (R) Nasirul Mulk in which all newly elected members will take their oaths.
Elections for the post of speaker and deputy speaker will be held on the next day and later election for PM office will take place.
