ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) while giving the time of 6 months for recovery of missing person Abdullah has wrapped up the case.
The court has ordered Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan to remove defence secretary, interior secretary, inspector general police and other officers from their posts if they fail to recover Abdullah within stipulated period.
A petition regarding disappearance of one Abdullah from the jurisdiction of I-9 Islamabad Police came up for hearing before Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiani Monday.
Mother of allegedly kidnapped person Abdullah had resorted to IHC for recovery of his son.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiani while whiling pronouncing judgment imposed fine to the tune of Rs 2 million on Joint Investigation Team (JIT) constituted in respect of the case and secretary defence, interior secretary and IG Islamabad.
It is pertinent to mention here that the terrorism cases are registered in Islamabad against the alleged kidnapped person.
Sources said the abducted person is wanted by police in several cases.
The incident of lifting Abdullah was reported in 2015 from sector I-9 and later Islamabad police formed JIT for his recovery. Later the affected family approached IHC.
The court while announcing decision on the case gave six months time for recovery of missing person.
Abdullah has remained in Adiala jail on the charges of terrorism.
