Lahore: Falah e Insaniat Foundation (FIF) arranged 5-days Professional Rescue Course, which was held at Rescue Training Institute.
People for all provinces and Azad Kashmir participated in the course. Chairman FIF Hafiz Abdul Rauf delivered concluding lecture and distributed certificates among participants. Senior Safety Trainer Rizwan Shoukat, BLS Senior Instructor Doctor Nasir Ahmad, Head Rescue Services Abu Sariya Naveed Qamar, Pharmacist Doctor Akram, Doctor Ahsanullah, Engineer Haris Dar and other instructors delivered lectures though multimedia projector. Participants were provided with practical trainings on various topics such as Cardiac First Response (CFR), Basic Life Support (BLS), Wilderness First Aid, Fireman Course, and methods to save life. Participants also went through Flood Drill Exercises in case of floods emergency.
Addressing to participants, Hafiz Abdul Rauf said that FIF wants to prepare such a nation which responds quickly in case of accident, natural calamity or any other national tragedy. Our target is to provide rescue training to over 100 thousand individuals.
He said that rescue training workshops are being held in entire country. Till now, we have provided rescue training to 46 thousand people.
