Muzaffarabad:(Parliament Times) The supreme court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir while directing the PPP-AJK chief and Member Legislative Assembly Sardar Khalid Ibraheem Khan to appear in the court in person on 13 June had warned the PPP chief that he could be disqualified from the membership of the legislature provided he failed to appear before the honourable court on the said date.
It for the second time that the honourable court had issued notice to Sardar Khalid Ibraheem. Earlier, the apex court had summoned him on July 5 but he refused to appear the court. Pertinently, the court had sought explanation from him over the controversial speech, which he made on the floor of assembly of couple of days.
Meanwhile, the AJK PPP has convened an important party meeting on 7 June to discuss the issue and other political developments taking place in the region.
