Multan: The District Administration in Multan has decided to take strict action against those who refuse to vaccinate their children against Polio.
The Administration also decided to provide special security to the polio campaign teams.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance Multan Arshad Gopang said during a meeting that “[these] children are our assets and we will take all the necessary measures to protect them from Polio.”
He also directed to organize walks and seminars to create awareness among masses about the Disease.
He told the participants of the meeting to vaccinate the children to protect them from polio as well as other diseases. He urged all concerned departments to make vaccination campaign successful.
District Health Officer (DHO) Dr. Zafar, Dr. Wasim Ramzi and other officials from health, police, education and other concerned departments were among the participants.
