Rawalpindi: Punjab Educators Association (PEA) has demanded that the Educator teachers should be regularized from the date of their appointment and all appointments in future should be made on the permanent basis.
Leaders Malik Amjad Mahmood, A. Gul, Rashad Abbasi, Ejaz Khokhar and Raja Basharat also demanded that on the pattern of the federation, hiring facility should be given to EST Middle teachers – BPS 16 and Matric teachers – BPS 17 and all contract teachers should be regularized. They also exhorted to release the pays with arrears of 5 months of all educators before the Muslim festival of Eidul Azha.
