ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has said protection of universal character values and respect to the constitution and democracy are like foundation of a nation and including them in the syllabus could stabilize the state.
He was addressing a briefing meeting of Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training on the occasion of formation of new syllabus from class I-VIII in Islamabad.
He said through this new syllabus a better foundation has been laid for the country’s youth in connection with better education and training.
The President said it is essential for character building of the new generations to prepare best syllabus for inculcation of national cause and good values.
Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, Eng. Balighur Rehman said special importance has been given to national cause, peace, respect and tolerance in the new syllabus.
