Mansehra: The number of slain Transgender in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) has mounted to 57, between 2015 to 2018, as another member of the community was gunned down during an engagement Ceremony in Mansehra District of the Province.
The armed assailants opened fire on Transgender Muni, following a spate of words. The injured died at the spot.
People at the scene held the assailant and handed over to the Police. However the body of deceased was shifted to Hospital.
Earlier, on April 23, number of unidentified assailants opened gunfire on a residence of Transgender at Shiva Adda Area in Swabi, killing a transgender Sheenu. Alike, on March 27 some unknown attackers gunned down two people including a Transgender at Ring Road Patang Chowk in Peshawar.
