Mithi: The outbreak of water-borne diseases and malnutrition teamed up with the cold weather caused the eighteen children to lose their lives in different areas of the district.
In line with media report, in first ten days of January at least eighteen children lost their lives in Civil Hospital Mithi.
Earlier in November as many as 47 children died in government hospital in Thar while this number was increased by 44 in December.
Health experts are of the view that the infants, suffering from malnutrition are being affected by seasonal diseases due to which the death toll has been increased.
