LAHORE: Chief Selector and former team captain Inzamam-ul-Haq has become part of Lahore Qalandar, a franchise of Pakistan Super League (PSL), as an adviser to mentor the young players.
In a press talk, Rana Fawad, chairman of Lahore Qalandars, welcomed Haq, saying the new induction will provide guidance to young players and new talent.
Speaking on the occasion, the former skipper termed joining the PSL franchise an honour.
Commenting on the development, Lahore Qalandars CEO Atif Rana said Haq was one of the best players in cricket.
It is to mention here that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had reportedly conditionally permitted the chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq to join the Lahore Qalandars in the upcoming event of the PSL.
On Nov 4, Inzamam held a meeting with PCB Chairman Najam Sethi where he was given permission on the condition that he will have to report to PCB immediately whenever he will be called regardless of all other engagements.
