Upper Dir: Earthquake tremors were felt in Dir Bala and its adjoining areas on Thursday morning.
According to media reports, tremors were felt at 6:30 am causing panic among the residents of the areas. They rushed out of their homes reciting Kalima Tayyaba.
No loss of life or property has been reported yet, however, roofs and walls of some mud houses were partially damaged. Rescue 1122 teams reached the scene soon after receiving information of earthquake and barred locals of affected area to go to their homes till complete inspection is conducted. .
Alert has been issued in nearby local hospitals and Para medical staff has been directed to remain present on their duties to cope with any emergency situation.
