Faisalabad/Multan : At least five people were killed while 37 others were injured as a result of two different road mishaps in Faisalabad and Multan respectively.
According to media reports, a wagon carrying some 7 passengers was on its way when a tractor trolley coming from its opposite direction hit with it near Dajkot, an area of Faisalabad. As a result five people were killed while two others sustained serious injuries that rushed to nearby local hospital for first aid and medico-legal formalities.
Meanwhile, 33 people were injured after a passenger bus overturned in Multan.
According to media reports, a bus carrying some 33 passengers was on its way from Sialkot to Sadiq Abad when near Bahawalpur it overturned. As a result 33 passengers suffered serious injuries and were shifted to nearby Nishtar Hospital for medical treatment.
Out of 33, 10 injured are stated to be in critical condition.
Police have reached the scene, registered cases and started investigation.
