Islamabad : The Inspector General of Police (IGP)Islamabad has promoted 36 Islamabad police personnel to the rank of Inspector, Sub Inspector (SI) and Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI).
IGP Tariq Masood Yasin approved the promotions on the recommendations of Departmental Promotion Committee, said a police spokesman.
Among the officers who were promoted from sub inspector grade 14 to inspector grade -16 are Niaz Hussain, Anis Akbar, Chaudhry Zulfiqar Ali, Shaukat Ali, Abdul Jabbar Khan, Qazi Rabnawaz, Amjad Farooq and Azhar Mehmood while the officers who got promotions from grade ASI rank to SI are Ashiq Hussain, Muhammad Akram, Muhammad Mushtaq, Shehbaz Ahmed, Akhtar Nawaz, Sajid Hussain, Muhammad Sarwar, Mazhar Hussain, Javed Iqbal, Abdul Salam, Akhtar Abbas, Barkhurdar, Shabir Ahmad, Javed Iqbal and Asif Mehmood.
Muhammad Nisar, Muhammad Anwar, Amjad Khan. Anwar Hussain Shah, Muhammad Ramzan, Shad Muhammad, Muhammad Shafqat, Tariq Mehmood, Muhammad Afzal, Wali Khan, Elahi Bakhsh, Muhammad Sarwar and Jan Khan were promoted to the rank of ASI from grade 11.
IG Yasin greeted the promoted officers and hoped that they would perform their duties honestly and earnestly.
