Sargodha: Local Police of Sargodha city finally succeeded to arrest to girl, Sana who connivance with her family members held seven fake marriages within a period of four months.
Duty officer, Urban area police station Sargodha, Sattar Ahmed told that they were receiving complaints about this gang since long. He informed that on a tip from informer, police raided at a house and succeeded to arrest the accused involved in holding fake marriages. He assured that action would be taken against the accused in accordance with law.
Only 18 years old, has had been robbing people through fake marriages and depriving them from valuables. Police told that during a span of only four months, she, in connivance of his brother and father and fake Nikah Khawan arranged seven marriages.
Usually the period of this marriage has had been spanned over for two or three days and after this notorious gang used to flee from that city, sources said. In the recent development, two affected grooms, Allah Ditta and Azhar Mehmood who were the victims of the these arranged marriage approached police and cited that one was his real groom and the other was insisting that he also has Nikkahnama (Marriage contract).
Sana, the fraudster bride has so far deprived seven persons from the hard-earned money and valuable, jewellary. On the complaint of Allah Ditta and Azhar Mehmood, Urban police station has registered case against Sana, his brother, father and fake Nikkah Khawan.
Allah Ditta, one affectees disclosed that he had paid Rs 1,50,000 for this marriage. He said it was his hard earned money. After third day of marriage, when he left home for shopping of food stuff Sana was disappeared. He said he continued waiting for her for hours but with no gains. Later, he contacted local police station where he had come to know that he had become victim of fraudsters.
